HEALTHCARE

We prefer close collaboration with the architectural design team and the client as early as possible in the conception of the project. We prefer to participate in brainstorming sessions to descern what these parameters are. In doing so, a proper structural concept can be built in the form and shape of the project, responding directly to these qualities.

Huntington Memorial Hospital Expansion

The project involves a new 4-story building of approximately 47,000 square feet and remodel of approximately 24,000 square feet, to the East side of the existing building.   The first floor and second floor will house the new expanded Emergency Department, while the third floor houses Cardiology Surgery Spaces and Sterilization spaces.  The 4th level will be a mechanical floor.  Innovative Ground Anchors are used to resist seismic overturning.  The architecture of the building will respect the vocabulary of the existing campus.

Citracado Medical Building

This new 50,000 sq.ft. facility in Escondito, CA houses many medical facilities, including a Children's Urgent Care, Pediatric Orthopedics, and Radiology department. The spiral shape, high volume lobby forms a distinct iconic landmark that can be seen from miles away.
